My name is Adel Elalfy. I began my career as an internal medicine physician in Cairo, Egypt, before continuing my practice in the Netherlands. In 1998, I relocated to the United Kingdom, where I have since worked as a family medicine physician in Stafford.
During my time in Egypt, I had the privilege of studying Islamic principles under esteemed scholars such as Mohammed Al-Ghazali and Yousuf Al-Qaradawi. Since moving to Stafford, I have dedicated over 25 years to Da’wah and Islamic education, conducting study circles on Tafseer and Hadith, as well as organising Friday and Eid ceremonies.
In addition to my medical career, I have served as the headteacher of Stafford Islamic School since becoming a trustee of the Stafford Muslim Community Centre (SMCC) in 2019. My aim is to continue leading Islamic education initiatives for both adults and children at the new Stafford Islamic Centre.
